Ord for ord: «You tell me»

Reporter VAUGHN HILLYARD: Should there be a database [system] that tracks Moslems in this country?

DONALD TRUMP: There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases, we should have a lot of systems. And today you can do it. We have to have a border, we have to have strength, we have to have a wall, and we can not let what is happening to this country happen in the long run.

And this is something you, in the white house, would implement?

Oh, I would certainly implement that. Absolutely.

What do you think the effect of that would be? How would that work?

It would stop people from coming in illegally. We have to stop people from coming in to our country illegally.

But more specifically, how do you actually get them registered into a database?

It would be just good management. All you have to do is good management procedures. And we can do that. [That's nice].

Do you force... Do you go to mosques and have these people sign up in the system?

Different places. You sign'em up at different... But it's all about management.

Would they have to legally [sic] be in this database?

They have to be... They have to... Let me just tell you. The key is: People can come to the country, but they have to come in legally. Thank you.

[Trump går. Klipp til nytt sted.]

Mr. Trump, why would a Moslem database not be the same as requiring Jews to register in nazi Germany? What would be the difference? Is there a difference between the two?

Who are you with?

I'm with NBC News... Is there a difference between requiring Moslems to register and Jews, in Nazi germany?

You tell me. You tell me. Why don't you tell me?

Do you believe... Should Moslems be, I mean, fearful? Will there be consequences if they don't register?

[Trump går.]
